Gaming Operators demand Office Space in Philippines

Gaming operators from all over the globe are buying office space in the Philippines. This comes after the government decided to begin licensing offshore gaming firms. Overseas gaming operators have since asked the Philippines government for ‘clear, consistent and reliable’ support when it comes to gambling.

New Licenses for Gaming Operators

According to local news agencies, the growth of office spaces in the Philippines is partly because of gaming operators. Roughly 20% of office space in the country belongs to gaming operators who wish to offer their services in the Philippines. Additionally, new regulations from officials allow operators to offer games in the country provided they are based in a building accredited by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority.

Some of the most popular areas for offshore gambling operators are Makati City, and two suburbs of Manila. Being closer to casino resorts, the two suburbs (Paranaque and Pasay) seem to be prime locations. Also, labour and real estate cost in the country are lower than other Asian nations.

Gaming Operators and Casinos

At the moment, there are three casino resorts in the country that are driving the need for real estate. They are Solaire Resort and Casino, City Of Dreams Manila, and Okada Manila. Another casino resort currently under construction is Resorts World Bayshore, which is expected to be completed in 2018. The City of Dreams Manila, also known as Melco Crown Philippines, has recently been crowned the ‘best performing casino’ of 2016.

For many gaming operators, this is yet another reason to invest in the country and its gambling industry. And with licenses being made in Philippines, gamblers in the country now also have access to online casinos. Kiwi players will understand how easy it is to gamble online and receive great casino bonuses. More so, having access to great casino games and safe online casinos is also a plus point.
