Pragmatic Play Gets Recognized by Malta Gaming Authority

Pragmatic Play announced that it has obtained its Recognition Notice from the Malta Gaming Authority. This was in addition to its license by the watchdog. The Malta-based designer and supplier of internet casino content presently hold a Serious Supply License by the Malta Gaming Authority. This enables it to offer its products to nearby licensed operators. The newly awarded MGA Recognition Notice gives the supplier the green light to offer its Live Casino and Bingo products to MGA-licensed online casino operators.
According to the Maltese gambling regulator official website, a Recognition Notice that is issued by the Authority “whereby an authorization that is issued by another Member State of the EEA or the EU, or even a State that is deemed by the Authority to offer safeguards equivalent to those that are offered by Maltese law, is seen as having the same effect as an authorization that is issued by the Authority.”
Pragmatic Play and The Malta Gaming Authority
The Recognition Notice allows online betting companies to provide a gambling service or products in or from Malta. Counting Malta, Pragmatic Play is licensed and also certified to provide its portfolio of gambling games in over 20 countries.
Yossi Barzely, Pragmatic Play Chief Business Development Officer said that they are happy to “have passed the strict criteria” of the Malta Gaming Authority and are they look forward to offering players with their latest products.
New Live Casino Product from Pragmatic Play
The gaming software providers entry into the live gambling sector first came in January. The company’s live dealer offer includes the most popular gaming games, such as blackjack, baccarat, and roulette. Pragmatic Play did announce that it has been approved to open a live casino studio in the capital of Romania, Bucharest in In April. The Romanian betting regulator, ONJN, did issue a Class II license to the main supplier to operate its facility.
