World Poker Tour AUS 2019

World Poker Tour 2019The World Poker Tour in partnership with the Star Gold Coast Casino in Queensland has announced the first WTP poker tournament in Australia. The festival is set to take place from 27 September to 7 October. There have been a total of 7 events scheduled for the day with buy-ins that are set from AU$330 to AU$5,000. The main event has a set buy-in at AU$2,500. Aussie Poker lovers and Kiwis alike will be spoilt for choice in terms of the games that will be played.

The WTP event is going to take place at the world-renowned Star Gold Casino that boasts luxurious hotel suites with great amenities. The hotel has recently been through an $850 million renovation. Kiwis looking for great poker tournaments should be sure to visit. For your convenience, we have displayed the calendar for the tournament below.

There are several events that players can enjoy. Registration will open to all who are interested in the World Poker Tour soon.

About the World Poker Tour

The World Poker Tour was established in 2002 and they have since held a series of poker tournaments, internationally. The company is known as an entertainment and internationally televised gaming brand. This upcoming poker tour is one that many Aussie’s are looking forward to. The Vice President of the Global Tour Management, Angelica Hael, has stated that the WPT is exceptionally excited to add WPT Australia to its roster.

Any poker player interested in being a part of the World Poker Tour will have to adhere to tournament terms and conditions. To be a part of any WPT, you must be aged from 18 and above.
